May 7-10 Boboli gardens held the Profumi di Boboli exhibition.
You can’t miss the opportunity go on the other side of the river crossing the Old bridge (Ponte Vecchio) with its jewelleries, and visit the magnificent gardens of Boboli and the Pitti Palace.
The exhibition offer parfumes, soaps, handmade candels, essential oils, plants extracts, scented sachets, flowers… This will be an olfactory experience through the history of Florentine parfumerey tradition, from the Renaissance to the 20th cent.
All the stands host antique furnitures by the most famous antique shops in town.
Together with the Fair, you can also visit the beautiful Boboli
Garden, and the Museo degli Argenti, Museo delle Porcellane, Museo del Costume inside Pitti Palace, and – not to be missed – you can also visit the important Giardino Bardini, recently re-opened to the public. It offers a magnificent view of Florence, and it’s possibile to visit (addictional ticket) the Museo di Villa Bardini, not open to the public after several yrs.

During the exhibition there are small concerts of classic music, special events for children and it’s possibile to visit the zoology rooms of the Museo della Specola located next to the Pitti Palace.
