Are you ready for your 2010 New Year’s Eve in Florence?
Here we want to share with you some useful informations on how to spend this very special night December 31, 2009
Events:
1. Concert with Irene Grandi, Lucio Dalla, Negrita band in Piazza della Stazione in Firenze, at 10 PM (about). Free. The concert is free and you have the possibility to take the train Frecciarossa for free and get to Bologna in about 37 minutes, then come back by train. This is a special event Firenze-Bologna cities to celebrate the New Year’s Eve together with the inauguration of the Special Frecciarossa train, the fastest one. So you can assist to the concert in Florence or Bologna, while singers hop on/off from the train and play their music in the square of both cities.
In case you want to take the Frecciarossa train free of charge you mus book the tickes in advance at the desk in Piazza della Repubblica, Florence, where you can also find the detailed schedules.
2. Concert in Piazza del Duomo, Duomo square with the band Banda Improvvisa from 10.00 PM(about). Free. This is a great people’s orchestra, playing various kind of music, a real great human experience for music lovers.
3. Concert in Piazza della Signoria, Signoria square. At 11.00 PM. Free. Here is the classic music: the director Maestro Lanzetta with his world famous Chamber Orchestra will play the most exciting well-known musics from Rossini, Bizet, Strauss…
Parties:
1. Palazzo Gaddi, Via del Giglio (close to Vai Cerretani, not far from the train station). From 11.00 PM open bar with midnight sparkling wine, party, dance music with dj until early morning. More info +39 3474238636

Pubs and Places to eat:
- The Club House Pub in Via de’ Ginori, on your way to go to the Duomo from the B&B, offers a buffet with sparkling wine and live music for 18,00 euros
