If you are in Florence between May and October (why not?) you can’t absolutely miss this special event about Caravaggio and his school. Most of paintings will be located inside the Uffizi Museum, and another part of the event will be host inside the Pitti Palace – Galleria Palatina.
On the occasion of the IV centennial of Caravaggio‘s death, there will be a total of more than 100 works coming from research, new attributions, most of them well-known, some unknown.
The Exhibition will have the same opening time of Pitti and Uffizi: 8.15 am – 18.50 pm, closed on Monday. The cost of the ticket will be euros 14,00 per person (euros 10,00 museum+exhibit. and euros 4,00 museum booking service).
Caravaggio is one of the most important italian artists, and you can’t say you’ve been in Italy and missed him…
