…. And after the White Night on april 30 now Florence celebrates the annual Europe’s Day with 27 hours of concerts, events, opera. The 2010 is 60th anniversary of the Declaration of the European Union and Florence wants to give its special tribute.
Here is a very short list of various events you will discover in the city from the afternoon of May 8th until the evening of May 9th. You can find the complete calendar of events on L’Europa in 27 ore – La Notte Blu
- Concerts: in Piazza della Repubblica street bands and classic music, jazz concerts, rock music from the afternoon of May 8th.
- Santa Trinita Church: guided tours from 8.00pm on May 8th.
- Happy Hours and Light dinner in cafes, bars, pubs located in the city center (Caffé Deluxée, Caffé ChiaroScuro, Caffetteria delle Oblate, Cuculia Libreria…)
All the events are linked to Europe’s life, including traditional food
