This week-end you can enjoy the famous Antique Market at the Fortezza da Basso, located 3 minutes walk from MR My Resort B&B accomdation in Florence center and Relais Grand Tour B&B.
The Fortezza is a medioeval fort with a very large garden, where 120 stands sell antiques and old objects, bijoux, old-fashioned hats, bric-à-brac.
A nice way to spend a couple of hours in a quiet place, and hey, don’t miss the gelato at Re Gelato, one of my favourite ice-cream parlour 
located right in front of the Fortezza da Basso.

A few weeks ago Pam staied at the B&B. She told us she had a great time in Florence, and in particular appreciated the warmly athmosphere of MR My Resort bed and breakfast.
She gave us a precious present: an elegant, handmade guestbook in typical florentine paper. Wow! What a wonderful surprise (and what a sweet girl).

Busy Days at the B&B

Yes, we’re very very busy!
And we’re very very happy to have lots of nice guests.
Sometimes it is hard to find a minute to sit down in the patio and relax with our guests, but I think that our couples in love forgive us 
We’re working behind the scene to give you the best!
Actually both the B&B MR My Resort and Relais Grand Tour are full, and there is lots of work to do.
Fortunately, our assistants Camilla and Lorenzo are like Superman, and they are working all the day long together with us. Thanks guys!!!
Every day you have to take care of the flowers, there are linens to iron, cleanings, emails (from 50 to 80, and we reply to each one), Albert the dog , Giuseppe my husband , my garden (!), friends, my family (mom calls every day, especially while I’m working or while a guest is asking for something here at the reception, and she always starts asking about you, because she wants you to ask her “how are you mom”) the beautician, the manicure, shopping Uff!
Well, the most important thing is to see see that all our guests enjoy the city so much, even if today is rainy.
But when you’re in Florence, there is always a place to stay if the weather isn’t good: you have the Uffizi, the Academy Gallery, the coffee shops, the excellent restaurants where is pleasant to drink a good red Chianti wine watching people from the window…
