Location
The B&B Mr My Resort is in the historical part of Florence, between ancient palaces and narrow streets, very typical of a town where you can still breathe art and history.
The area is lively but because of the many residents this is a tranquil and good cared place.
Restaurants, artisans, bars, grocery stores, pizzerias are all very close to the B&B.
Museums in Florence?
We are very close to the Accademia Museum the “house” of Michelangelo’s David (we can reserve the tickets with any additional costs!!). You get there with less than five walking minutes, passing trough San Marco square, where the visit is worth a while.
The B&B is close to other monuments of Florence such as The Medici Chapel and San Lorenzo church, the Cathedral of Florence, with the imposing Dome and the Giotto bell tower (you can climb both of them), the Uffizi Museum, the Bargello, the Old Bridge and Palazzo della Signoria, also known as Palazzo Vecchio. In about 15-20 minutes on foot you can reach every point of interest in Florence.
Fashion and business
The Fortezza da Basso is very close and it is the main centre for exhibition and fair in Florence. In particular it hosts the famous Pitti Uomo (January and June), Pitti Bimbo, then Pitti Filati. These major fashion appointments are held all here.
Our B&B can be a valid place for those of you who have to come and go from the fair many times a day.
By Car
For information regarding coming to Florence by car we suggest telling us in advance so that we can inform you on where to park: garages, parking spaces and ZTL (limited traffic zone).
